Best place to make online trades at? Cheapest trades, easiest to use

Hitman, whats the catch to that? How do they possibly make any money that way?

They make money on options and margin. If you open a margin account there they charge you interest, monthly, on any money you borrow to buy stocks.



Your money is safe up to half a million I think.

I also think they are pooled in with other brokers so when an order is matched, they split the bid/ask spread with the other broker.

Also on cash accounts they only pay 1% interest on any cash sitting in your account. They are probably earning 5% risk free while your money sits there.

Wow, tough to beat $0 per trade, haha. I use TD Ameritrade and it is $10.99/trade. I have never had any serious problems with them and I find the site very easy to use and navigate.

Take a look at Interactive Brokers. You are getting ripped off paying Ameritrade commissions.
